CODE-protest in Warsaw. “Beata, print the sentence!” – Cable Republic

Throughout the country held marches and demonstrations Committee for the Defence of Democracy associated with the celebration of the 19th anniversary of the Polish Constitution. In Wroclaw, representatives of CODE-in and a lot .Nowoczesna Ryszard Petru headed handed out on the streets of copies of the Constitution and also read parts of it.

In Warsaw protest CODE-in was held under the slogan “Beata, print the sentence”, which was to refer to the non-publication of the March ruling TK ws. the amendment of the Constitutional Tribunal Act by PiS. Supporters of CODE-u came to Al. Ujazdowskie under the Prime Minister’s Office. Assembly lasted about three hours and was attended by several hundred people.

During the demonstration also reminded that on April 2 falls 19 anniversary of the Polish Constitution. Accordingly, the invited guests read out portions of it. They were among them Ewa Wanat, Jarosław Kurski and Jacek Zakowski.

These types of demonstrations and assemblies were also held in other parts of the country.
