Wall Street Journal: US admonish Poland ws. Court … – Cable Republic

Washington pushed for Poland to put an end to the crisis around the Constitutional Court – writes the American newspaper “Wall Street Journal”, citing a source close to the Polish authorities. No reaction from the Warsaw may lead to a cooling of bilateral relations and halt plans to strengthen the presence of NATO forces in Poland – warns newspaper.

American diplomats suggested in talks with the Polish authorities that they expect that these comply with the recommendations of the Venice Commission, reports “WSJ”. The draft report prepared by the advisory body of the Council of Europe last week leaked to the media, which according to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Witold Waszczykowski, lowers his rank.
