Today appeared the trailer for the movie “Smolensk”, directed by Antoni Krauze. The film will be released on April 15, a few days after the sixth anniversary of the presidential plane crash.
The ensemble cast included, among others, Lech Łotocki embodying the role of Lech Kaczynski, Ewa Dałkowska playing Maria Kaczynska, and Catherine Łaniewska, Jerzy Zelnik, Marek Bukowski, Maria Gładkowska, Anna Samosionek and Dominic Figurska.
As pointed out by the film’s director, deal with the subject of the Smolensk catastrophe was “not only a great challenge but a great civic duty.” The film’s producer, Maciej Pawlicki, he added, however, that the film is already fully prepared.
The film tells the story of journalist Nina, which prepares the material on the disaster. Nina believes in providing the commission Miller and committee MAK. He decides itself investigate the real causes of the crash Tupolev. Clues lead them to the events in Georgia in 2008.
The screenplay is by Antoni Krauze, who directed, among others, “Black Thursday. Janek Wisniewski fell, “and Thomas Łysiak, Maciej Pawlicki and Marcin Wolski. The music was composed by Michal Lorenc. Scenes for the film were created in Poland and in the United States.
