Our biathlonistki just behind the podium at the world championships – Cable Republic

Polish relay (4x6km) composed of Magdalena Gwizdoń, Monika Hojnisz, Weronika Nowakowska and Krystyna Palka on Friday took fourth place at the World Championships in Oslo. Norwegian women won gold, silver, French, and German women bronze.

After the first change, which twice pudłowała Gwizdoń, Polish women were eighth. Very well ran Monika Hojnisz, which reduced the gap to the leaders and led our relay race on fourth position with a small loss to the forefront. Veronica Nowakowska failed to maintain that position, unfortunately. At the last round Krystyna Palka would run in sixth place with a loss of 36 seconds to the medal zone. Our best this season biathlons moved to the fourth position, but the third German women eventually lost 40 seconds.

baton to Norwegian women won with 5 seconds advantage over France and 28 over the representation of Germany. On Sunday, the last chance for medals at the world championships – race mass start, which qualified Magdalena Gwizdoń and Krystyna Palka.
