Medal for Polish at the beginning of the indoor world championships in light … – Cable Republic

Piotr Lisek won a bronze medal in the pole vault at the beginning Portland indoor world championships in athletics. Competition won by Frenchman Renaud Lavillenie, the second was a representative of the host Sam Kendricks.

This result already assured him victory, but still Lavilleni scored 6.02, and then attempted to overcome his own world record of the hall. Three attempts at cross bar set at a height of 6.17 m ended in failure, however.
