Palm Sunday is a big double celebration – Catholic and folk – the president said Andrzej Duda, who along with his wife participated in the ongoing in Lipnica Murowana celebrations on the occasion of Palm Sunday.
Presidential couple took part in the traditional procession to Mass at the historic church P.W. St. Andrew the Apostle. – This is a joyful day of the meeting. I am glad that today as president I honor the state awards two people, so important to your community that fought for freedom during the occupation – said Andrzej Duda on the market in Lipnica Murowana.
The president recalled that the highest palm of years created just in Malopolska. – It happens only because the state back up beautiful traditions. We sincerely thank you for it, because it’s not only your tradition, but also the tradition of the region. I am glad that these palm trees etched so strongly as a folk festival and Christian – he stressed.
