– I would like to Poles returned to their homeland – said in an interview for BBC Deputy Prime Minister and Development Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. – Przywitałbym with open arms all the Poles who have emigrated. If returned, it would be a big deal for Polish – he added.
The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that the situation has improved – the number of emigrants has recently decreased. He added that this has to do with the increase in the average wage in Poland to 70% of the EU average, so that in 5-7 years the mass emigration has to be stopped.
In an interview with the BBC also touched on Brexitu. – I hope that the UK will be in the European Union, because the times are not easy – the Minister of development. – There are several geopolitical turbulence around us, including conflict in Ukraine or immigration crisis. Better to face them together – he added.
