the law gives citizens a year to report the claim to the Warsaw City hall. After this time there will be opportunities to apply for refunds. The repayment of the compensation will take up to 10 years from the date of notification. “This has to be another safety valve” – said the Diet Marcin Kierwiński.
Repayment will also not apply to persons who received compensation under international agreements between 50.60 and 70.
Politicians Platform appealed to the Law and Justice to support the decision and join the substantive cooperation on the project.
They stressed also that this law allows a court to verify the previously conducted exchange trading by individuals who procure claims, yet deceiving the current owners of the land.
