Mother Teresa is a saint – Cable Republic

Today at 10 am in the Vatican will begin mass, during which Pope Francis canonize Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

The ceremony will take place in the 19 anniversary of the death of Mother Teresa. 13 years ago was declared blessed by Pope John Paul II.

Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu, because that is the real name of the blessed, all his life devoted to the service and devotion to another person. She was among founder of the Order of the Missionaries of Charity, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize and the Templeton Prize.

For more than 45 years lived in the service of the poor and the needy, leading hospices for the dying, the sick and orphans.
Her contribution in spreading goodness and the Catholic faith is invaluable. To this day, the world has more than four thousand nuns from her call. In Poland alone, the nuns have five houses: In Warsaw, Zambrow, Lodz, Szczecin and Katowice.
Mother Teresa was also a founder of four other congregations – the Fathers of the Missionaries of Charity Brothers of the Missionaries of Charity, Contemplative Missionaries of Charity and the Contemplative Missionaries of Charity.
