The tragic accident occurred in Bielany. Speeding Citroen entered the island at the junction of Conrad and Reymonta where two cyclists – mother and daughter – waiting for the green light. One of the women died on the spot, the other was reanimated.
The incident took place just after 16. According to police, the driver lost control and drove into the island between the pedestrian crossings where the two women were waiting for the green light.
on-site quickly emerged three ambulances and fire brigade. One of the women – his mother died at the scene. A daughter – with severe injuries were taken to hospital. The wounded man was the driver, the car turned over after hitting traffic lights.
