President of the Constitutional Court Andrzej Rzepliński commented on the words of US President Barack Obama, who at a joint conference with Andrew Duda expressed concern about the stalemate concerning the Polish Constitutional Tribunal.
Rzepliński responded to the words of Obama in an interview with Radio ZET. – I regret that Barack Obama had to say. But he had to – he stressed.
Recall that during a joint conference with Andrew Duda, Barack Obama said that during talks with Polish President expressed concern “related to certain activities, and the stalemate in the field of Polish Constitutional Court.” He emphasized that the US respects Polish sovereignty and realize that the parliament is working on a law that is intended to regulate the matter, but as a friend and ally calls on all parties to support democratic institutions in Poland.
