The government supported, without dissent, presidential project for lowering the retirement age and wants to force it at the earliest from 1 October 2017 year.
The position was adopted without a dissenting voice. As spokesman of the government Rafał Bochenek, the project is to apply at the earliest from 1 October 2017 year. – This date is associated with the necessity to adjust the digital infrastructure in Zusi, training of employees and preparation of the whole system, which will support pension solutions, we want to restore – pointed. This means that women will be able to retire at age 60, and men at the age of 65.
Presidential project
The main proposal contained in the draft law amending the law on pensions with Social Insurance Fund and other acts to restore the retirement age in force in Poland until the end of 2012. the age of retirement will therefore be varied by gender and will be 60 years for women and 65 for men. These changes will include the persons covered by the general pension system (ZUS) and farmers (ASIF) – we read on the prezydent.pl.
No change
The government approved a presidential project, without making changes to it, including without introducing seniority as a criterion for retirement. In favor of such a solution, without the condition of seniority, told Finance Minister Paul Szałamacha, who believed that “the people who work, accumulate pension capital.”
