Took off Tour de Pologne – Cable Republic

Today started 73 edition of the cycling race Tour de Pologne. The riders overcame the first stage of Radzymin to Warsaw. First Past the Post reported the Italian Davide Marinelli group Etixx-Quickstep. Michal Kwiatkowski took seventh place with zero loss to the winners.

The Tour de Pologne is played since 1928, initially as an amateur event. Since 1993, when the organization took Czeslaw Lang compete in the professional riders. In 2005, the race was switched to the cycle of the most prestigious cycling events in the UCI Pro Tour, now operating under the name of the UCI World Tour.

At the start of this year stood 216 cyclists from 26 professional groups.
