Russian Foreign Ministry called an act of Warsaw “defiant” and reserved the right to refer to this situation. Rossiya Segodnya agency also requested clarification from the Polish authorities.

Polish Foreign Ministry announced that it has no connection with the procedure initiated at the request of the Internal Security Agency of the country. The deputy head of the Foreign Ministry said Rafal Trzaskowski, however, that “Poland wydaliłaby not anyone in the country, if there were weighty evidence” and relied on “suspicious” of the Internal Security Agency.

Swiridow first received accreditation as a journalist in Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1998 and since 2003 has lived and worked in Poland for good.
