The project public and commercial television stations in many countries emit 30-second spot highlighting the importance of television as a leading medium. The spot will be encouraged to share in the social media of your favorite “moments of television” and the determination of their tags #WorldTVDay and #WeLoveTV. With materials provided by viewers is expected to create another promotional video entitled “You Love TV”.
Co-organizers of the campaign include The European Broadcasting Union (EBU), European Group of Television Advertising (EGTA) and the Association of Commercial Television in Europe (ACT).
World Television Day was established by the United Nations in 1996.
