During the signing of the agreement adopted a timetable for implementing the system fully ready for action. This means that by 1 January 2015. Regional Warning System will be fully utilized in the Regional TVP and mobile applications.
1 July 2015. RSO will cover the entire MUX-3 that is all TVP channels broadcast in digital terrestrial television and SMS messaging (for those who wish to receive such messages by notifying your phone number to the base of the Regional Centre Crisis Management).
The Regional Warning System is now available in digital terrestrial television in the digital terrestrial multiplex MUX-3 in the regional programs: the standard HbbTV, teletext, using the DVB subtitles. For now, however, it is a test version.
More recently, you can also use the free app on mobile phones. You can find it in stores with applications on various platforms (respectively: Google Play, Apple’s App Store, Windows Phone Store). The application can search the stores in key words “APR” and “Regional Warning System”.
RSO mobile application gives you access to the messages generated by the provincial disaster management centers of provincial offices across the country. In order to read the specific message simply “download” application RSO, and then select any region.
The messages circulated within the RSO include the following thematic categories: general, meteorological, hydrological, water levels (gage).
In addition to the “drivers” RSO may contain traffic information. The application is also provided in part contains guides dealing with crisis situations.
We are currently working on launching another distribution channel messages – by sending an SMS.
