Heads channel TVP announce the creation of Poland24. Would be ready on the hundredth anniversary of regaining independence by Poland.
wrote this Monday on Twitter head of TVP 1 Jan Pawlicki. As we read in his entry, the president of Polish Television Law and Justice MEP “promises to work on launching news channel Poland24 for the centenary of Polish independence.”
Details on No. – I do not know this idea – admits “Rzeczpospolita” Alexander Gieros-Brzezińska, a spokesman for TVP.
Deputy Foreign Minister Jan Dziedziczak tells us that the ministry is waiting only on proposals from the Polish Television.
– We are open, because it is our national broadcaster – he said.
Civic Iwona Śledzińska -Katarasińska wonders whether this channel is used to promote Polish in the English-speaking world. – It’s already after the European channels (Euronews – ed.) And his time were proposals from the European Union to Poland to join him – he notes.
