Hybrid TV becoming more common in Polish homes – Republic (press releases) (Register)

The number of people that use a hybrid version of TVP, Eski TV and snapshot-TV, reaching several million. The largest markets are Germany and France.

Smart TV, or additional features and content available to viewers in the receiver via the internet in Poland is still a new phenomenon. Own hybrid platform have so far only TVP channels SMPS Media Group (Eska TV, Polo TV, Focus TV and Vox Music TV) and Freeze TV. All these broadcasters based their hybrid services on digital terrestrial television system.

– The latest data show that we have today in Poland, 1.8 million active-collection devices hybrid service, but this result is due mainly these services terrestrial television .
