UAM launch TV – Onet.pl

Television UAM.TV is to start in mid-January. The project will be implemented jointly by the Film Studio Adam Mickiewicz University and Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.

– will UAM.TV Internet TV is a university of an information science. Already in May we realize the first stage of the project, under which under the VOD platform are published film productions, television and records events at our university, which is one of the three largest in the country, educates here 40,000 students – says in an interview with Onet Dr. Stefan Habryło, director of the University of AMU Film Studio.

The first Polish television has published academic research programs, documentaries as well as films. There will also be information services, programs devoted to culture and sport.

– already we emit 70 programs per month, which are also aired on television in Poznan WTK. We want UAM.TV was addressed to three audiences: our academic community, students and enthusiasts who are passionate about science – says Dr. Stefan Habryło from the University. – On the air will be popular science programs, relations with lectures, debates research. There will also be a program “Career Handbook” from which viewers will learn how to write a resume or obtain legal advice. There will also be programs devoted to culture and the arts. We were able to invite you to cooperate prof. Joanna Hoffmann from the University of Arts, which creates media on a global level. We also want to implement joint projects with other universities – adds Dr. Habryło.

UAM.TV to be non-commercial television . On the air station certainly does not appear in the ad. The project will be funded his own university. The programs have also prepare students of the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism AMU, but there will also be professional journalists. TV University will be available on the site.
