About o2.pl from the end of September you can free to watch several Polish TV channels. Netwizor make them available to the company, which in the majority of the station signed a contract, but the channels TVP, Polsat and TVN streaminguje (ie. Broadcast) without an agreement with broadcasters. The biggest TV demand from Netwizora Group and Virtual Poland (which includes service o2.pl) suspend streaming and complain to the National Council for copyright infringement. "This state is not only illegal, but violates the interests of TVP, which cradles serious costs on purchases of licenses and broadcasting of their programs," - writes Information Centre TVP in response to our questions.

Netwizor in turn argues that operates in accordance the amendment of the media law of 2011., which introduced the so-called. rules must-carry and must-offer (must fit / must distribute). The first obliges TV operators to have in their offer the channels previously available in analogue terrestrial television, or TVP 1, TVP 2, TVP Info, Polsat, TV4 and TV Puls. The second obliges those stations to make your TV signal operators. - Senders should therefore provide the required copyrights and licenses - says Michal Suchoń, president of the company Netwizor.

The disputed, however, is the question of whether the two rules apply to operators of Internet TV. TVP says he does not, because - according to the Information Centre - EU directive on universal service in 2002. "Does not provide for such a network, which has Netwizor, as appropriate to the principle of must-carry, it only involves a network of satellite and cable."

Netwizor as it relies on the outcome of a similar dispute with 2013. The company had already provided access to streaming television channels, although at a different address (netvi.pl), which drew the wrath of Polsat, TVN and TV4. Netwizor blocked then broadcast their channels and directed a request to take a position with the National Council of Radio and Television. Ta 30 July 2013. Netwizor resumed in 2014. At Videostar.pl. Why, then, the conflict has been revived now? Most likely the biggest stations, anxious increase in the number of viewers Videostar.pl, since the streaming is available from the o2.pl. In August Videostar.pl had 240 thousand. users, and in September on the page o2.pl came 2.98 million users.

In October, the sender filed an appeal against the summons NBC to provide a signal to the Netwizora. The National Council, however, still not taken a position on this issue.

NBC decision in the long run may affect the finances major broadcasters.
