The President did not go to the March of Independence – Television Republic

President Andrzej Duda will not take part in the March of Independence, which for the fifth time through the streets of Warsaw on November 11.

The president’s decision regarding the celebration of Independence Day, said Undersecretary of State in the Chancellery of the President Wojciech Cycling. A colleague Andrzej Duda said that the president will take part in the Mass in the Cathedral of Warsaw, and later at the Belvedere will present the highest state awards. And in the afternoon will go to the White Podlasie, where he will take part in local festivities.

– It was one of hundreds of events to which the president has been invited. He could use only one. Cala ceremony is a grassroots initiative that shows the local community, engage the community – Cycling said.

This year, the March of Independence passed under the slogan “Poland for the Poles, the Poles for Polish”. This year’s tour will be the same as last year. Participants will gather at the Roundabout them. Roman Dmowski and Poniatowski Bridge will march to the grounds of the National Stadium.
