The premiere edition of the brand Fibre Optic Cable was presented by EVIO during the annual Congress of operators and experts of pay TV, which took place in Krakow on 29-30 October. The new brand promotes modern fiber-optic technology, thanks to which offer multimedia services to local cable operators and ISPs will significantly compete with major digital TV platforms.
Fiber optic cable starts at the beginning of November. It will support more than 100 local fiber networks on Polish territory. The target group are subscribers who expect reliable access to all multimedia services from one provider.
What distinguishes the new brand is to use the most advanced technology on the market which is fiber, which today enables delivery of Internet more than 3 times faster than connects the cable networks (DOCSIS), more than 10 times faster than telephone lines (xDSL) and almost 20-fold from the Internet LTE. It is important to remember that these opportunities will eventually rise significantly, the more that the use of FTTH technology in Poland does not exceed 0.65%.

In order to increase competitiveness and pursue a coherent communications nationwide brand was supplemented with internet fiber optic and telephone Fiber, which even more highlight cutting-edge technology by means of which small and medium operators provide services to the subscribers.
Unlimited Internet speed is accompanied by images TV in full HD quality and stability of the transfer, as well as lack of technical limits on the number of available TV channels. Fiber TV today offers more than 240 channels, including over 80 in HD. Until the end of 2015 we will be adding 16 new channels, including HBO and Cinemax.
Fiber optics technology also allows the use of innovative solutions such as the ability to watch TV content on mobile devices in the near future the possibility of simultaneous recording several channels at once, or store up to 500 hours of recorded programs. Multiroom service is appreciated, thanks to which TV content will be available on any number of devices in the home and in the event the selected channels also outside it. In terms of Internet access services, fiber does not introduce restrictions known from other technologies wired and wireless, where the use of the link by several people at one time causes a noticeable slowdown in the transfer especially when sending data.
Rich multimedia experience and fiber quality are not the only distinguishing features of the new brand. Assumptions of its introduction to the market and to build a strong position in the industry based on three guidelines:
1. Education in the field of fiber optic technology
2. Promotion of service packages optic local operators.
3. Promoting new fiber networks
Multilingual education campaign will focus on highlighting the benefits of innovative technology and its limitless possibilities. The aim is to convince both operators and subscribers to use today emerging perspectives. As part of the planned activities, operators can count on support in marketing and in the active marketing of local services, as well as the development of communication strategies and assumptions.
