With independence, thanks to the freedom we have rights but also duties – said the president in an interview with Polish Radio journalist for the Industry Szubartowiczem. Freedom is never given once and for all
Before the start of the official ceremony, the president said on Polish Radio about the importance of this feast and those that commitment entails independence.
– November 11 each year is a very important day, the anniversary of how in 1918, after 123 years of partition, regained freedom after the whole generation fought for her recovery – said Duda. – Independence is an obligation for all, thanks to Independence we have rights but also duties – explained the president.
As said Mayor Duda, freedom and independence are particularly important precisely for Polish, which by its geopolitical position has always been in difficulty . – Independence, freedom is never given once and for all, you need to look after, you need to strengthen the (…) hence the question of good foreign policy, a well-run national affairs – said the president.
The president explained that strong an independent state, a state where not only acts strong, efficient legal system, but also operates stable economy and is being developed military capacity. – Today these nations that his country had lost this understanding, we have today the state and some people do not appreciate that – said Duda.
I see no reason to change the decision on. The date of the meeting of the Sejm
The president also referred to the widely commented on in the media and attacked by the outgoing government decision on the date of the first sitting of the Sejm eighth term of office. Last week, Andrzej Duda set the date of the first sitting of the Sejm just for Thursday 12 November. Members will gather at 13.00, while senators at 17.00. The designation of that date, means the political future of the opposition in trouble formal with the appointment of representative Polish at the informal EU summit in Malta, devoted to the issue of refugees.

The president also stressed that the new ruling party declared a readiness to interrupt the meeting and continue it the next day to Prime Minister Kopacz could live up to their responsibilities.

He added that due to this situation, “sees no reason to change the decision” on the date of the meeting.
