Poland and the Netherlands propose the creation of the European Union Russian-language TV channel to better counter Russian propaganda in the media – he reported in Brussels Polish Foreign Minister Grzegorz Schetyna.

In his opinion, the future Russian-speaking television could produce the content, that would be used by the existing stations, news channels and Internet publishing in Russian.

Fund to support other media?

According to the Minister, the project could start next year. Feasibility study on the counter Russian propaganda in the media has already prepared a European Endowment for Democracy. It was commissioned by the Dutch government. The study was presented at the May summit of the Eastern Partnership in Riga.

One idea is to create an information agency for the area of ​​the Russian language. Experts also suggest eg.
