Regional Warning System, which is a service alerting the general public about local dangers, since yesterday all over the country. Notifications of natural disasters or fires have to reach out to us as soon as possible, so they can be found not only on the sides of the offices, but also in mobile applications and television.
Messages that users see the application and the person in front of TV, will come from the provincial disaster management center. Information is intended to apply only to the most important events, often threatening our health and life. There will be general data, meteorological, hydrological and related status.
I would like to emphasize that the messages generated by a Regional Warning System will apply only really significant events. There will be no such warnings. Small cork, obstacles on the road or frost

Messages appear on the aforementioned websites of provincial offices, as well as the Regional TVP (teletext page 430 of platform hybrid DVB subtitles and hybrid TV also possible to view pages with the details of the event), and free mobile applications for Android, iOS and Windows phone, which you can download from our database application. In preparation for the push notification system for the application, so that it will not need to run in order to check the situation in the area. The system covers the whole country and will be all the more effective the more people will use it.
Applications are not only notification of local hazards. Maica and RCB placed in them as a set of guidelines, which are closer Practices in dangerous situations. Tutorials are divided into several parts: A Guide to the citizen; Alerting and warning;
Evacuation; Fires; Floods and flooding; Contamination, epidemics, poisoning; Extreme weather events; Terror; Safe Sports; Natural hazards and technical. In a specially designated portion of the application will include information for drivers. To be less detailed than those collected by navigation systems, so do not expect to find information about traffic jams in the city.
The system is already running, but is not the end of its development. Since July 1, will cover all Polish TV programs, broadcast in digital TV MUX3 (TVP1 HD, HD TVP 2, TVP Regional, TVP Info, TVP Kultura, TVP Polonia, TVP Historia, TVP Entertainment). There are also plans to introduce warnings sent by SMS. Currently, this part of the system is in the testing phase and assumes that citizens will report their numbers if they wanted to receive notifications that way. The Ministry ensures that the base numbers will not be shown on.

The project was made possible thanks to the implementation of Terrestrial Digital Television, as well as cooperation between Polish Television, the Ministry of Administration and Digitization and IMWM. Last year, the Ministry of Administration and Digitization released on RSO 250 thousand. zł. In 2015 for the project will be allocated 880 thousand. zł, of which 589.62 thousand. zł is the cost of the contract with TVP. The annual cost of maintaining the system is estimated at from 880,000 to a million. Cost distribution channel RSO run as a text message is still being negotiated.
