German Chancellor Angela Merkel spoke by telephone with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and President of Russia Vladimir Putin about the conflict in eastern Ukraine. Further discussions of foreign ministers of Germany, France, Russia and Ukraine are scheduled for tomorrow in Berlin.
Putin and Merkel agreed that the foreign ministers of Germany, France, Russia and Ukraine should continue talks on the conflict in eastern Ukraine. Another interview is scheduled for next Monday in Berlin.
Service President President of Ukraine submitted that in a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Petro Poroshenko expressed concern about the escalation of clashes in eastern Ukraine. He said that the pro-Russian separatists violate the truce in force and continue to receive supplies from Russia.
