UPC introduces Horizon – television with Internet interactivity – Media2.pl

UPC today announced the next stage of the implementation of the Horizon platform. Next to mobility and wielkoekranowości that are already available within the app Horizon Go , customers will now be able to enjoy the richness of the offer linear and on demand. It’s all thanks to the decoder Horizon , which combines TV, Internet and telephony, providing users with a number of additional features. UPC Poland has already started inviting a select group of customers to try the Horizon platform. For all clients Horizon will be available at the beginning of 2015. The service will allow customers UPC Horizon on the use of attractive functionalities including access on TV screens to social media such as Facebook , YouTube, and Twitter, the personalization of content based on user preferences, intuitive menu (interface) and, among others, the ability to record up to four programs while watching the fifth. Pilot decoder is equipped with a double-sided QWERTY keyboard for easy use of the Internet on the TV screen and search programs and applications . It communicates via radio technology, and therefore does not need to be pointed directly at the receiver.
