The man considered to be the highest-ranking military commander of Hezbollah during the war in Syria is dead. As announced in a statement the organization, Mustafa Badreddine was killed in Damascus.
Hezbollah confirmed that Mustafa Badreddine killed in Syria this week in a “massive explosion” at the airport in Damascus.
In a statement issued by the organization called Badreddine’a “great leader of jihad”. It is reported also that he participated in most military operations since 1980. According to an international tribunal she took a part in the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri and-in 2005.
Hezbollah supports Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and sent thousands of their fighters to Syria.
