Television Republic already has 3 years – Czech Television

The idea of ​​creating television was born already in 2012. The project from the beginning was to be ponadśrodowiskową initiative. It is composed of representatives of the press and Internet portals with experience of working aired on television. December 21, 2012 held a press conference at which informed about the preparations for the launch of an independent television.

– We want to create television for everyone, especially for those who have no place in the current media – then said Tomasz Sakiewicz . The editor-in-chief was Bronislaw Wildstein. The first program was watched by about 200,000 viewers. May 6, 2013 saw the start of satellite broadcast and the date is assumed as the official beginning of the activity stations.

Programs

TV Republic since the beginning of broadcasting was primarily a television current affairs and information, seeking to quickly react to current events. The program offer is journalism live broadcasts and magazines, documentaries and reports. For regular broadcast, broadcast years include, among others Cool eye Today, Political Coffee or Thessaloniki Political.

During the protests on Kiev’s Maidan in solidarity Ukraine TV Republic held January 19, 2014 concert “Poland for free Ukraine.” The concert was canceled for security reasons.

In February 2014 years television moved to the new, current headquarters at ul. Brave 58 in Warsaw’s Wola district.
