Edward Migal, the CEO of “Archer” and Col. Marek Chojnacki, who heads DIRECTOR Inspectorate of Armaments, signed an agreement for the supply of 17 621 pieces of 5.56 mm assault rifles mod. 96 Beryl and 8400 pieces of 5.56 mm rifles wz. 96 Mini-Beryl for Polish soldiers – the company informs. As pointed out, the contract with the Inspectorate is the largest contract in Radom Factory “Archer” since 2000. Its total value amounts to more than 156 million gross.
May 24, 2016 the year belongs to the group PGZ Weapon Factory “Archer” – Radom and the Inspectorate of Armament Ministry of Defence signed an agreement for the supply of the next batch of weapons for the Polish Army. In the years 2016-2019 radomski “Archer” will provide the Polish army over 26 000 pcs. 5.56 mm rifles and Beryl subkarabinków Mini-Beryl. This is another in a short time, an agreement which equips Polish soldiers in Polish arms.

Soldiers get a modern, reliable and, most important, one hundred percent Polish equipment, and we – weapons factory – thanks to this collaboration we acquire the means to our further development. Considering the contract in terms of its values, it is the largest contract factories since 2000. Note, however, that this is a long-term cooperation and the number of rifles in individual years are at a similar level to the previous year or earlier years – emphasizes Edward Migal, CEO Weapon Factory. – Awaits us quite a lot of work, but we are proud that our products consistently, reliably will serve the defense of citizens – he added.
5.56 mm assault rifle wz. 96 Beryl and subkarabinek Mini-Beryl is automatic weapons designed for infantry, paratroops and other types of armed forces. They are characterized by accuracy, reliability, durability and resistance to adverse environmental conditions.
As stated in the message of the company, thanks to the compact size Mini-Beryl is easy to carry and to fight indoors. Weapon Factory “Archer” – Radom is the only manufacturer of this weapon. This is an example of Polish design arms with high utility values. Carbine Beryl is a weapon durable, proven in difficult conditions on a real battlefield.
– The agreement confirms the possibility of the Polish Group Armament in terms of weaponry Polish army with modern equipment. This is another success for the PGZ and Weapon Factory “Archer” – Radom – emphasizes Maciej Lew-Mirsky, vice-president of the Polish Group Armament.
“Archer” has existed since 2000. And continues the tradition of pre-war Weapon Factory in Radom. He is a manufacturer and supplier of arms for the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, for export and for the civilian market. The company also performs services on behalf of third parties on the experience and skill of the crew and a modern and diverse machinery.
