The former president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili received the nomination for governor of Odessa in Ukraine.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, handing him a nomination for the post, said: “I know Mikheil Saakashvili as an independent person who changed Tbilisi.”
– I know it well. This is a person who knows how to fight corruption – said the President of Ukraine.
The former president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili was on a visit in Odessa last Saturday. May 23 participated in the traditional embroidery Megamarch and Georgia Days festival in Odessa. Saakashvili received Ukrainian citizenship.
