In Warsaw the March for life and the family – Television Republic

The Marches for life and the family take place in Warsaw since 2006, and for several years, similar initiatives are also held in other cities throughout the Polish. Warsaw march started at 13 at the Krakow suburb, and ended after 14 o’clock picnic in the park Casimir. The event was attended by several hundred people.

The Marches for Life and Family are manifestations of devotion to family values ​​and respect for human life. Marches is primarily a family holiday, constituting an opportunity to ensure that publicly manifest the joy of having a family. – It is also an opportunity to meet people with whom we share the same values. These involve mainly young families with children, but also all kinds of movements and associations – explains Jaroslaw Kniołek, coordinator of the event.

The theme of this year’s marches throughout the country is the concern of parents for the upbringing and education of their children.

The organizers of the event want to remind you that parents have the right and duty to educate their children in conformity with their convictions. All rights of parents originating from the natural law, confirmed inter alia in the Constitution, should be considered by policy makers and protected. Because parents play a leading educational role, all public institutions should play an auxiliary role recognizing the authority and the will of the parents. – We would also like to draw attention to the need for more and better cooperation between schools and parents of students in the field of education of the younger generation and transmission of a coherent system of values. Education based on the grounds raised from European cultural circle, underpinned by responsibility, the value of the family and respect for life, a guarantee of preparing young people to take responsibility for their own family, country and social life – explains Paul Kwaśniak, president of the Center Initiatives Support for Life and Family.

Last year, the Marches for Life and Family were organized in 123 cities. This number is steadily growing. More cities declare their intention to join the Movement march.
