In Kiev, 4th of September the building, which houses the premises of TV channel “inter”, the fire started. Representatives of the station said that it was arson. Interior Minister of Ukraine said that the attack was made they’re ex-military. Later he blamed the ” inter “provoke” the attack on its headquarters. The Russian foreign Ministry said earlier that Moscow is outraged and concerned about the arson of the building of the channel in Kiev. Russia believes that it has come to a clear breach of the principle of freedom of speech. The OSCE representative on freedom of the Media Dunja mijatović also condemned the arson of the building of “inter” and supported the quick reaction of the authorities to the incident.
Ukrainian politicians and journalists do not just forward the claim to the leadership of the channel’s information policy, which dopatrują themselves Pro-Russian approach. The claims also relate to the fact that a significant portion of the programs broadcast in Russian language. The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had previously stated that the share of Ukrainian language on TV, in public he is too small and warned the owners of the channels that przedsiębierze appropriate action.
