At tomorrow’s session of the Sejm Marshal current Radoslaw Sikorski has submitted his resignation.
Temporarily duties of the other people in the country will take over the oldest Deputy Speaker, who is currently Jerzy Wenderlich of the Democratic Left Alliance.
Sikorski announced that they resign immediately after the spill act with the investigation into the phone hacking scandal. He announced then that he was doing it for the good of the Civic Platform. – As vice-chairman of the Civic Platform, her business and her chances of election it is more important to me than personal ambitions – explained Sikorski.
He also announced his start in the upcoming parliamentary elections; suggested that the “number one” on the list of his hometown Bydgoszcz promised him Ewa Kopacz.
At tomorrow’s meeting, a decision will also be a decision concerning the procedure to the emergence of a new marshal and appointed day of voting on the issue.
