On Monday at the Presidential Palace Bronislaw Komorowski will indicate gen. Mark Tomaszyckiego, Operational Commander of the armed forces, as a candidate for appointment during the war for the position of Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

Gen. Marek Tomaszycki weapons is a graduate of the Higher Military School of Mechanized Forces and the National Defence Academy. In 1999 he graduated from the National Defence University taktycznooperacyjny course of integration with NATO, and in 2003 postgraduate studies in operational and strategic.
Military service began in 1981 in 32 mechanized regiment. Also served in 8 Mechanized Brigade and the Command of the 8th Division of Coastal Defence. In 1996-1999 he was head of training-deputy commander of 36 Armoured Brigade (after reforming mechanized).
The position of the Operational Commander of the Armed Forces Gen. Types. Tomaszycki took up on 1 January 2014.
