As we unofficially know TV Poland is interested in the presence of a representative of our country in the 60th Eurovision Song Contest, which in 2015 will organize an Austrian television. Board of TVP yet officially approved the decision to send Polish representative, but in talks with the European Broadcasting Union, which organizes the competition.
TVP negotiates among others reduce the fee for the transmission of musical show. The Eurovision Song Contest is being implemented in three parts – two semi-finals (in one of them is representative of the country) and the final spectacle. Of progress in the negotiations depends on whether TVP decides to show all the parts, as during this year’s competition. – Conversations with Eurovision is the finish – we heard the Polish Television.
A decision whether to choose Polish representative will decide in the voting viewers. Our findings show, however, that TVP tends more toward the solution that was used this year – the choice of the artist to make a professional committee would again.
Recall that in this year’s Competition Poland was represented by the duo Donatan & amp; Cleo, who took 14th place, fourth best in the history of our performances in the Eurovision Song Contest. Decided on the aggregate votes of viewers from different countries of Europe combined with the votes of the judges of each state. The Final of the 59th Eurovision Song Contest was seen in TVP1 4, 6 million viewers. This was the best result of the Eurovision audience for many years, and Single at the time of transmission of the concert was the clear market leader ( see details ).
TVP has announced a return to the Eurovision Song Contest in December. r. Lack of participation in the competition in 2012, the broadcaster explained focusing all resources at Euro 2012 and the Olympic Games in London. A year later, no longer served a specific reason for its decision.
