The Law on Broadcasting mentions only the basic “events of major importance for society” that TV must broadcast on a nationwide open air. These are the summer and winter Olympic games, semi-finals and finals of the World Cup and European football (the Polish national team matches in these events – in this round), other official game of the Polish national football team and matches Polish clubs in the Champions League and Cup UEFA.
Over the determination of subsequent events that must be freely available to a wide audience, NBC has worked since 2012.
