“Between us it is good” is a film adaptation of one of the best performances of TR Warszawa. Dorothy Masłowska art – both on stage and in the film version – directed by Grzegorz Jarzyna, and excellent roles created Danuta Szaflarska, Alexander Popławska, Magdalena Kuta, Maria May, Adam Woronowicz, Rafal Mackowiak, Roma Gąsiorowska, Agnieszka Podsiadlik, Catherine Warnke and Lech Łotocki . The second section of the core Kinoteatr are three performances achieved by the Manufacturing Plant and Documentary Film Festival in Warsaw: “Over,” according to the text and directed by Mariusz Belinsky, “Valentina” written by Julia Kyiv and Wojciech Farugi and directed Farugi and “Suitcase” Margaret Sikorska-Miszczuk directed by Lawrence Kostrzewskiego. All three performances were created within the project “Teatroteka” conducted by WFDiF and under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Adaptations created by young, often debuting artists, with the support of film technology and infrastructure, allow for interesting and innovative works. Realized performances are expected to be widely distributed. – The idea of the project is to use the potential of film technology for the filming of the most valuable achievements of “young” Polish drama theater. Over the last fifteen years there have been in Poland a new generation of authors writing for the theater – explains the director WFDiF Vladimir Niderhaus. – They created their original language, imagery, form, and enriched contemporary drama about issues concerning young people and their way of perceiving reality. “Young” Polish drama deserves its promotion, to get acquainted with it a wider audience – this is the main goal of the educational project.

Run by a narrator and voice mail, defeats the way from home to the Museum of the Holocaust, to go on one of the suitcases from Auschwitz to recognize the name of his father. “Suitcase”, the art of poetry with a unique design, written in a distinctive style, is a multilayered story of a quest for the truth about her healing strength of the struggles of the past and discovering their identity. Based on a true story, shows in a very poetic and abstract re-birth of a hero. It is worth mentioning that the cinematographer for “Over” and “Valentina” is Arkadiusz Tomiak, and to “Cases” – Witold Płóciennik.
Michael Oleszczyk, artistic director of the Film Festival in Gdynia, emphasizes the special role of the “Kinoteatr” as follows: – All these performances, though very different in tone and subject matter, proving how important institution is the realization of performances theater in the form of film. Traditions we have in this respect just wonderful – he grew up on the Television Theatre, which for decades shaped the literary and theatrical sensibility Poles. Five performances that show this year, in different ways struggling with the problem of freedom, language and combat units with their own identity, and all this in a great director and the housing of the holder.
