On Thursday, a ceremony was held for the launch of the operational programs of the EU spending in 2014-2020. – We get at the disposal of the greatest in the history of development funds. This is the result of several years of preparation, but also difficult and successful negotiations conducted by our governments – Kopacz said. – You could say that we played with a full pot and won. We have gained the most funds of any country in the European Union – she said.
The head of government also responded to an earlier EU perspective. – Over the past years we have proven that we can make good use of the opportunity that gives us a united Europe. We proved that well and effectively spend European money – pointed. She emphasized that the effects of this, we see “at every step and every day.”
For the period 2014-2020 Poland is expected to use 82.5 billion from the EU cohesion policy. This is more than in the previous term 2007-2013. Then, it was approx. 68 billion. In the new EU perspective of EU funds will support those areas that contribute most to economic growth, higher employment and economic modernization.
