Mokotów District Prosecutor’s Office discontinued the investigation into the mismanagement of the Polish Television. It was about 21.92 million zł issued for the issuance of the programs from the first DTT multiplex (MUX 1) while the third multiplex already had full coverage.
As learned “Presserwis”, the investigation was discontinued because of lack the characteristics of crime (Art. 17 par. 1 point 2 of the Code of Criminal Procedure). According to the Act digitization in 2011 public television got half of the first multiplex until the MUX 3 (which fell entirely to it) will reach the 95 percent. Polish citizens – but not later than 27 April 2014. However, the reservation decision of the President of the Office of Electronic Communications in the MUX 1 recorded only the date 27 April 2014 year. Relying on this decision, TVP was not released first multiplex, although by the end of July 2013 MUX 3 had the required range. In the first multiplex TVP began to gradually withdraw until this year. Feb. 15 released its place was taken by TV Trwam, a month later, he entered the channel MUX 1 Freeze TV, and April 28 – Focus TV.
