CES 2014: LG and its newest OLED TVs - Virtual Poland

At CES 2014 LG will showcase the world’s largest OLED TV ULTRA HD with a curved screen (model 77EC9800), as well as other models of 55 – and 65-inch OLED TVs. Will also be shown Gallery OLED TV (model 55EA8800) and OLED TV with a curved screen (model 55EB9600), distinctive pro-environmental values.

55 -, 65 – and 77-inch OLED TVs UHD with a curved screen is equipped with LG’s patented technology WRGB matrix OLED and 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The giant model with a diagonal of 77 inches received the coveted Best of Innovations in the competition in 2014 CES Innovations Awards.

color temperature of each of the pixels is automatically adjusted by the color correction feature LG Color Refiner, thus gaining the consistency and color balance. In order to make full use of the image quality resulting from an infinitely high contrast on your TV using the algorithm dynamically control the dynamic range HDR (High Dynamic Range). Curved OLED screen is also equipped with Ultra 3D Cinema experience providing in three dimensions using a polarizing technology FPR (film patterned retarder-type).

To expand the possibilities of viewing high-resolution, LG has applied the TV 77EC9800 its proprietary processor Tru-ULTRA HD Engine Pro, which allows you to scale materials with a resolution of SD, HD or Full HD to 4K quality. Increasing the resolution algorithm corrects errors caused by scaling, so that the projected image is smoother and without blur. The TV also uses motion compensation function to the prediction of MEMC (Motion Estimation Motion Compensation), which allows for smoother, clearer and more realistic projection.

Designed with an artistic touch, awarded the 2014 CES Innovations Award, the model EA8800 is a TV, thanks to which home room may look like an art gallery. The TV is equipped with a function eGallery, through which the user can choose from different display modes to produce a certain mood. For example, in the Gallery Mode mode, the TV displays the most famous works of world painting, whereas in the Healing & Remembering Mode helps in getting a warm and friendly atmosphere thanks to atmospheric sounds and images.

In turn, the latest LG OLED TV with a curved screen, the model 55EB9600, distinguished ecological values. It was made with more recycled materials than its predecessor and with a much smaller number of elements. Lightweight and energy efficient 55EB9600 received CES 2014 Innovations Award, which is awarded for environmental friendliness and excellent workmanship.
