UPC introduces Horizon TV – TV on your phone – Virtual Poland

UPC Poland introduces Horizon TV platform that will give the ability to watch digital TV on mobile devices and multiple screens.

Horizon TV is the next step towards mobility services provider, through which household members will decide whether or watch your favorite program on the tablet, smartphone, TV or computer screen. The new service allows access from any screen to nearly 100 television channels. Horizon TV is furthermore hundreds of movies and programs on demand, remote recording function and reminders, program guide and search movies and series.

service is available for customers Select Extra packages Extra HD and Max HD, with Internet services UPC. For customers of package Max Extra HD service is available free of charge. In contrast, the Select Package subscribers Extra HD can use the service free of charge until 31 July. After this date it will be available to them for 5 zł per month.

To use the service you must log on www.horizon.tv or the application Horizon TV Online (available for Android and iOS systems). Horizon TV application can be installed on any number of devices and use at the same time the service is possible on the three devices. Horizon TV is available via WiFi and cellular networks. Horizon TV platform offers the following features:

• Remote recording – allows you to schedule recordings of programs in the home and outside the home. This feature is only available to customers with a set-top box recorder, with the exception of set-top boxes Kaon
• Watch on TV – the ability to switch the channel and select the video from the UPC on demand using a mobile application without the use of a traditional remote control
• TV Guide – is the access to a television program for 7 days ahead. TV Guide also allows you to search and record selected programs
• Featured – is an intelligent recommendation system, which prompts the user programs and films that may be of interest
• Share – allows sharing with other information such an interesting film, program, through Facebook, Twitter and e-mail address
• Parental Control – allows you to block access to content using a 4-digit PIN
• Favorites – allows placement favorites programs in any order
