13 people dead and another 6 were wounded – a tragic fire that occurred after midnight in the bar “La Cuba Libre” in Rouen, in Normandy. Police determined the cause of the tragedy.
It is not yet known what caused the fire. It is known only that the fire broke out in one of the rooms in the basement of the club located in the city center. With 50 firefighters fought the fire. According to one of the representatives of the departments, which cites “Le Figaro” fire caused the candles that were used in the process of adoption and ignited made of polystyrene ceiling. As a result, he released poisonous gas that caused the death of teenagers.
The club played on a closed party mainly young people, who
were celebrating the birthday of one of them. The victims were taken to University Hospital in Rouen. There is also a team of psychologists, who provide assistance to families of the victims.
