The iPhone is considered to be the major influencer of the smartphone market as we know it and the very by way of the operating system, the iOS. However, it was not always to have been so, once the prototype of the iOS was to have a lot more similarities with the iPod, with the Apple to have considered the integration of small wheel 'click wheel', which serves interaction method.
The above video published by The Verge allows you to see what it was like to interact with an iPhone with this type of operating system, being organized in a very different way than we are accustomed to today.
in This first phase of development of iOS and the iPhone itself, the operating system was known as 'AcornOS', and are also likely to have been developed only with the aim of testing while the final version was in development.
