agreement with the largest television TVP World Declaration on Cooperation with the China Central Television (CCTV) signed on Thursday, 5 June. Polish Television SA The agreement provides, among others, exchange of information program and corporate, to participate in festivals, fairs and competitions organized by each of the parties, mutual assistance in working visits to television crews, and to strengthen the exchange and sale of software products.
Agreement headquarters in Warsaw Polish Television has signed Mr. Marian Zalewski, a board member and vice president of CCTV TVP Mr. Wei Dichun. CCTV, existing since 1958, is the only terrestrial television in China, reaching the 98.64 per cent. population that inhabited by more than 1 billion 350 million people of the country. It has a network of 25 public channels and 17 pay (including seven international channels, including English, French, Spanish, Russian and Arabic, which reaches approximately 134 million people outside China). The sender is a network of 80 correspondents all over the world (including from the year 2012 – in Warsaw) and works with more than 240 media organizations in 140 countries.
Last year Polish TV emit seven films produced by CCTV; as much Polish, obtained from TVP, showed our Chinese partner. In addition, TVP sold in recent years, CCTV licenses to emit 16 feature films (including “Katyn”, “80000000″, “Edi”, “Joanna”, “Venice”, “Little Moscow”, “winged pigs” “Shameless”, “Tomorrow we go to the movies”), seven TV series (“The Magic Tree”, “Londoners”, “Deep Water”, “Cheesy fate”, “Residence”, “House of the backwater”) and two documentaries ( “Chernobyl”, “Secrets of Love”) and the musical play “Seven Gates of Jerusalem”. With the existing cooperation between the two broadcasters at film festivals and television in China alone this year will host almost 30 Polish feature films and documents.
